Dr. GÃ¼nter Auerswald
is the director of the Institute for Hemophilia and Thrombosis at the Center for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital Professor Hess in the Klinikum Bremen -Mitte since 1985. From 1980 to 1985 he worked as a senior physician at the Center for Pediatric Neurology at the Medical Faculty of the University of LÃ¼beck and as head of the coagulation laboratory and coagulation clinic ( since 1975). After five years as an assistant doctor at the center of Pediatrics of the University of LÃ¼beck , where he graduated in 1980 the specialist in pediatrics .
Dr. Auerswald is a member of the German Haemophilia Society in the medical advisory board. He is also a member of the Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis in Germany , Austria and Switzerland, and the American Society of Hematology ( ASH ) and the International Society of Thrombosis and hemostasis ( ISTH ) . His main scientific interest is in addition to the rare bleeding disorders such as haemophilia by factor VII deficiency, also called HypoproconvertinÃ¤mie , and the factor X deficiency, also known as Stuart -power syndrome
